The Transport

OK, this is the motor "Blue Peril" - without any sponsorship branding, and not much in the way of customisation yet....

...but look, it's gained a few bits of kit...

...like that heavy duty white steelwork on top...

...and some red thingy - oversized jack perhaps - maybe John will enlighten us...

....and some serious bull bars - just the thing for the Kings Road...

...yup, it's starting to look the part...

...well yes, he's going to need a spade at some point....

...nice bit of tread left on that...

...now if anyone spots something MISSING please tell John....

...BEFORE he leaves in October...

...exhaust looks OK - hopefully won't need to call Kwik Fit from central Sudan...

...a rear light now matched by extra lights on top at the front....

...well, what can we say, clutch, brake and accelerator....

...and the cab - seat covers in Falcon blue of course....

....have to say, not much has changed in 25 years (comment from Colin - ex-BSAP)

....the beer vats water tankers...

...and back to the cab again - the interstellar communications console...

...and, ever practical, a power splitter...

...ah - this has to be ....for sandwiches of course!

Leg-pulling aside, you can see that John is going to a lot of trouble to make this trip work, and all of it to raise funds for the new Davenport Pavilion.  So if you haven't already done so, go to the Sponsor section and see about how you can support him.
